It's actually Asmodeus and i'm guessing Novalis there. Still funny as hell. ===== "A good author can make the mind imagine." He'd make one really cool adventure -- or several; as a matter of fact, I think the raising of an Archangel, and possibly a Demon Prince, of (eventually?) Water would make a great climactic theme for the next Cycle. I know, I know. I steadfastly continue dreaming, though. ;^) >--Beth, arcangel@io.com / archangel@sjgames.com In Nomine Line Editor >http://www.io.com/~arcangel/ William ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 22 Aug 2002 17:44:46 +0000 From: "Perry Lloyd" Subject: IN> Why did Oannes die? >Well, I went on a glorious and happy deep sea fishing trip today, and while >fighting off some seai-llness, I of course began to think about In Nomine. >Well, first I actually looked around me and realized just how utterly >MASSIVE and WIDE and ENDLESS and IMPORTANT the ocean really is. Yup. The ocean gives this planet LIFE. Without its waters, this planet would not be a living planet, it would be a _dead_ planet. >I just personally think Oannes should never have died, and Belial should >have been reduced to a gremlin. What do you all think? I think that Derek Percy had to cut the number of Superiors on either side of the war in half when he wrote the American version of the original game. That meant that a lot of Archangels had to go as it was, and that not that many new Archangels could be added. I'm guessing that either Novalis, Janus, or Jordi has had to pick up the slack; but given the ocean's importance ... I have to agree, there should be an Archangel of the Waters / the Ocean. Hell, maybe there is, he's just a "minor" Superior and hasn't shown up in a supplement yet. :) - -Perry ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 22 Aug 2002 10:54:24 -0700 (PDT) From: Michael Walton Subject: Re: IN> When Mercurians and Impudites Make War - --- Whistling in the Dark wrote: > http://www.megatokyo.com/strips/0300.gif [thud!] [reels jaw back in] That was so not right! 08> =====

A Calabite? No way! He's a Elohim of Flowers redeemed from Technology! He Fell when he lost his objectivity, but regained it again and became an Elohim, albeit a wacky one. Now Sol, Sol is a Calabite all the way. Calabite of Infernal Fire and Demon of Mercenaries to be exact. _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 22 Aug 2002 16:14:32 -0700 From: "Andrew S. This would mean that the Skulkers are still interfertile with humans, and the chances of mutant offspring are also the same.
