You could even throw In Nomine into a cyberpunkish game - for example, let God do an experiment, and see what happens when he recalls the majority of angels to Earth, and it degenerates into a "cyberpunk" type world, so God sends the angels back down to make things right.
How many street ronin and corporate execs would want to see a resurgence of angelic activity? Particularly the ones with a more, ahem, *personal* relationship with Hell?:)
I'm getting evil ideas faster and faster...

But it is unfair to compare IN with Rifts, as Rifts is heavily combat-oriented (just like my Wilderness Scout/sniper).
Wouldn't it shock the crap out of an angel to fall through a Rift, and be set upon be a platoon of SAMAS and a Juicer patrol? :) Numinous corpus my butt, that angel would be copping Trauma faster than you can say "Rail gun". hahahaha.
What about IN Rifts? Angels and demons in power armour and Juicer rigs continue the war in an Apocalyptic Earth!! See Belial with a Plasma Napalm Thrower! Hear Baal say "Ooooh, Rail Gun!" Watch Michael dismantling Full-body Borgs!! Listen to Saminga chatting up Skelebots: "So, you come here often shiny??" Laugh as Vapula fills his shorts!!
But I digress.

The LintKing may refer to some of our quotes from the game just yesterday where I mixed In Nomine with the Amber system in an Underground world. The total nuclear destruction of the mortal world is soon to come. (In the game; I'm not a Doomsday theorist.)
It is mostly designed as a Diabolical Throne War, to get us all more familiar with the genre/system, etc. Still, with lines like, "Valefor...give it back." And Kobal asking, "What's it worth?" ...hee hee.

In Nomine - Planescape.... there's a cool crossover idea. Why play celestials if you're just going to be mucking around in the Corporeal Realm with them? Don't they deserve a setting equal to their glory?
From: Highway Star (smw4s@faraday.clas.virginia.edu)
I've had all kinds of evil crossover ideas, thanks to reading too much GURPS I guess.
In Nomine Paranoia? Run Heaven like Alpha Complex? (I guess I'm going to be struck down by God now.)
In Nomine Cyberpunk? Nah, I've ranted about that enough.
In Nomine Call of Cthulu? The Elder Ones are really Demons and Angels in Celestial form...
In Nomine Car Wars? A Division 40 Duel between Michael and Lucifer...
In Nomine Twilight: 2000? Baal managed to spark the Twilight War, and now the angels have to help humanity recover.
In Nomine 2300AD? What gods do the Kafers have?
In Nomine Heavy Gear? Oooo oooo oooo...no comment on that one.
In Nomine In Nomine? Angels roleplaying demons and demons roleplaying angels?

Should be safe enough; I've been working, off and on, on Salem Complex for some time now and *I* haven't been. (Of course, I'm the High Priest of Mortijingle, and that's an official perk, but...) It's not In Nomine based, but it works amazingly well...
> In Nomine Cyberpunk? Nah, I've ranted about that enough.
Underground works much better for it... > In Nomine Car Wars? A Division 40 Duel between Michael and Lucifer...
Heh..actually, in our last session, we had Michael and Baal drag
racing in Batmobiles...(I still can't believe I successfully invoked
Michael with a, "Yo, Mike!")
MaBarry's suggesting In Nomine Talislanta...("No Angels", I
suppose...{gryn})

Heheh... I believe it could be even more hysterical trying to roleplay
Angels and Demons in Alpha--I don't think either side would know what to
make of it. Saminga would certainly be happy with it. As would Vapula.
Heck, Nybbas would just be the patron of HPD&MC, neh?
> In Nomine Cyberpunk? Nah, I've ranted about that enough.
I like this idea. Problem is just figuring out Heavenly politics at this
point. Jean and Vapula would most certainly be higher up in the
importance ratings, and I'd say there'd likely be an Archangel and Prince
of Cyberspace...
Other ideas:
In Nomine Falkenstein: Could be most interesting. You can bet the
Adversary has infernal backing...
In Nomine MERP: Cool setting. Crummy system. The Heavenly hierarchy's
defined a bit differently though...
In Nomine TORG: Heheheheh. This would be wrong. As if it's not confused
enough...
Just out of curiousity, if one were to make an In Nomine crossover in a
world with magic, should there be an Archangel and Prince of Magic?

Hehe...seen Men In Black yet? I've been really liking the idea of
looking at In Nomine from the human point of view, with a secret
organization that exists to keep the Celestials under control as best they
can...("Look, son...you've heard of the Great War between Good and Evil,
right? Well, it's real. There are Angels and there are Demons, and they
spend a lot of time fighting each other..and frankly, neither side usually
much cares if we get in the way. Our job is to keep an eye on these
people - you'll be learning how to listen for them later - and keep them
from doing too much collateral damage to humanity. Don't be fooled into
thinking the sides matter...Mercurians are usually okay, but most of the
Angels are just as focused on their War as the Demons are.")

The MiB's are Malakim in Black attempting to protect us from Vapula' s
Flying Saucers.
The Priory of Zion, the Dragon and Phoenix Society, Thule Brotherhood or
the Society of Assassins on the other hand...
Except of course that the Priory of Zion works for Yves, The Dragon and
Pheonix society for Valefor, The Thule Brotherhood are sorcerors and the
Assassins work for Gabriel. The Knights Templar work for either Baal or
Lawrence but its hard to tell and the Roscrucians work for Novalis.
Possibly the Illuminati arn't working for a Superior but possibly they work
for Lucifer [after all they are all about seeing the light...]
