Actually, this isn't the first RPG setting I've written a trailer for. I did one for our local LARP...(you can read it at ftp://chronic.lpl.arizona.edu/pub/larp/shared.universe/Tucson/history/trailer.txt)
...and I did one for a Star Wars game (you can read it at ftp://chronic.lpl.arizona.edu/pub/rebels/trailer.txt).
[UP MUSIC: Piano playing the opening notes of 'Hungarian Rhapsody #5', very softly.]
[BLACK SCREEN]
[SEVERAL QUICK JUMP CUTS BETWEEN:
* Hagith flinging his Wing-ed body out of a heavenly tower before it explodes.
* Farris holding a gun on a leathery-winged demon who has obviously been beaten to a pulp.
* Screeching subway train with sparks flying off the sides as it grinds to a halt at a red-lit station.]
[A white line moves slowly across the screen.]
[SEVERAL QUICK JUMP CUTS BETWEEN:
* Flaef relaxing on a couch with several oversexed underdressed women. He presses the button on the remote control.
* Hagith blowing a smoke ring with a thick cigar.
* Policemen breaking down the door to a clearly empty, white-walled apartment.]
[The white line starts to tilt slightly resolving itself into the logo of the movie. Something catchy like the one for "The Saint".]
[STOP MUSIC.]
[CUT TO: The four angels, dressed like the Blues Brothers pausing as they walk through a door.]
HAGITH (addressing the screen): Let's not go -too- far.
[UP MUSIC. FULL ORCHAESTRA. JUMP CUT between various other scenes of the movie, far too quick to catch.]
[At an appropriate spot in the music, JUMP CUT to logo.]
[JUMP CUT TO BLACK, with one more orchaestra hit.]
