[House Rule: Full Eidetics can use odd numbers of points in a skill (e.g., 1.5, 3), since it gets quadrupled into something "real" . . .] Conversions:Fantasy:Serena would be perfectly happy to keep some merchant house's books. For that matter, she may be a merchant! She'd probably employ other people to make the face-to-face transactions, though, since her own appearance is mildly off-putting. Literacy becomes an advantage. Modern:Serena is probably a programmer, and may be starting up her own company soon... Near Future:Serena definitely plans to start up her own company eventually. She's probably a department manager in some corporation. In case you hadn't guessed, this is a varient of the XenoSolutions' Selene Holmes. On the This Way Up,Serena serves many of the same functions (astrogation and computer-skills), but rather than spying out details with sensors, she spies out ways to make money and keep the merchant-ship's business running smoothly. She can also terrorize bureacrats with her letter-perfect recitations of rules and regulations. Additionally, Serena's a good shot with a stunner, which is a plus when you're on a merchant ship that's likely to get into trouble every now and again. (Back to list of Space Characters) | |
