Jose becomes a bard, or, more likely, a merchant. He could also be a diplomat-type. Alter skills to fit. Literacy would become an advantage.
A great door-to-door salesman, or a real Politician.
He'd do well in corporate espionage - just getting people talking, though he would probably need a bodyguard - or perhaps the salesman or politician routes would be better.
If it has to do with talking, or any other form of communications, Jose does it. He's a natural talent with languages, an expert in psychology, and a low-power telepath, as well. He usually serves as the This Way Up's spokesperson in any sort of negotiations. If you can get him out of bed. Jose can smell a profit a mile away - and will dash off to pursue it at top speed - about the only thing that seems able to get him moving.
A varient of Jose works with the trouble-shooting team of XenoSolutions: Kyle Nilsson.
